Based in Amsterdam, Pisswife’s activism wishes to speak to feminists all over the world while still remaining in touch with its roots in the Netherlands. This is why every month, we’ll present to you an agenda of interesting readings, protests, lectures or exhibitions in this country that Pisswife will attend or that could be of interest to our readers. This month, these are our suggestions:

8th of February – Feminist film screening: Women Without Men

This time the film ‘Women Without Men’ by Iranian born Shirin Neshat will be screened. The movie shows the lives of four women living in Tehran in 1953 and gives us an insight in an often underrepresented culture. After the film there will be time for discussion, and a nice extra is that food is allowed so you can bring your own favorite snacks! The entrance is free and the venue is wheelchair accessible.
