My vlogging skills definitely need some work but HEY, I’m trying.
In this episode of Behind The Zine you’ll be able to peek into one of our management team meetings as well as see some clips of the career-day talk given by Tessel and I for the Fabula Rasa career event if you missed it. While we’ve never seen starting PISSWIFE as a #CareerMove, it’s always lovely to be invited to talk about how we run and organise our teams, and the work that went into setting pisswife up in the first place. A lot of work goes into making the zine happen, not just in terms of writing poetry and designing layouts, but also in making sure that everyone in the team feels respected and valued. Maintaining healthy and happy working relationships and friendships with each other is at the heart of what we try to do. At the end of the day, PISSWIFE is a small, tight-knit community that is founded in a mutual love of activism and art. We are a found family that supports each other and, occasionally, also gets pissed together. Cheers.
